Captain: Giorgio Urgeghe, Italian, 54 y.o.
Giorgio is an incredibly expert and reliable Captain with a friendly attitude and over 30 years’ experience at the helm of different kind of vessels.
Born and raised in the amazing island of Sardinia, he’s always been surrounded by the sea and, even if on a first time he followed his artistic side and graduated at the Art Academy, he surrendered to the call of the ocean. He took all the necessary qualifications and started his maritime career after completing his compulsory military service.
A great problem solver and a strong team builder, Giorgio is completely guest oriented and is able to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere on board. Italian mother tongue, he also speaks a basic English.
Deckhand/Chef: Massimiliano Lausdei, Italian, 36 y.o.
Massimiliano is a very sociable and dynamic deckhand, fond of sports and of the sea.
After taking a degree in Clinic Psycology at the Urbino University, he got back to his beloved land, Sardinia, where he worked for a very long time and holding various positions at the Pevero Golf Club, one of the most beautiful and exclusive golf greens in the world.
When the call of the sea became too strong to ignore, Massimiliano decided to start working as a deckhand; the skills acquired during his previous works, patience, organization and flexibility, are greatly appreciated on board, as well as his ability to prepare delicious, healthy Mediterranean dishes, including some typical Sardinian delicacies.
He speaks English fluently, a good Spanish and a basic French.
